WHITE WATER RAFTING

We organize White Water Rafting in different rivers in Kenya with experienced guides even for the first time rafters. Rafting in Kenya is possible in different rivers with experienced guides even if you want to raft for the fist time in life. Along the rivers, you shall experience some natural life that abounds like birds and some mammals and or reptiles.

Among the rivers that rafting is possible are:

River Mathioya

River mathioya
This is one of the hardest raftable river in Kenya it has a length of 22kms with over 450metres of its length descending. Water in this river has fairly low volume even during the rainy seasons, it has sustained grade four and five white water. Previous experience is highly recommended if you want to raft here.

Athi River

Athi River
This is the second longest river in Kenya and it passes through Tsavo National park with up to 80kms of the river being raftable, you will take three nights and three days on these calm water, with game viewing in the close park while enjoying the plenty of bird life that abounds interspersed with some wonderful white water. For wilderness rafting in Kenya this is a trip not to miss.
Your trip shall be accompanied by experienced guide who shall also provide you with the entire meals during the three days on the river.
Trip cost- US$ 380 per person

Ewaso Ng’iro River

Ewaso Ng’iro River
This trip is much more similar to that of Athi River with three days and three nights. This river passes through Samburu National park, where the wild game viewing is an experience you will not miss either, the water levels in the river depend on rainfall therefore it would be better to contact us before deciding to raft in this river.
Trip cost- US$ 430 per person.

Tana River

Tana River
With a great mixture of high action white water and abundant bird life interspersed with scenic calm water. This is the river to raft in when you are having few days to spare in Nairobi or you want to base yourself in Nairobi. You can mix your raft with jumping the 30ft water fall, swim in the devil's toilet bowl or try some surf in the big surfing hole.
