
Tarangire National Park
Is situated only 120km, from Arusha and South East of Lake Manyara National Park - is famous for its dense wildlife population which is most spectacular between June and December. During this time of the year thousands of animals migrate from dry Maasai steppe to Tarangire River looking for water.

Among other species to be seen at Tarangire are rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, warthog, eland, the fringe eared Oryx, lesser and greater kudu, gerenuk and large numbers of impala. The National Park is also famous for tree climbing pythons and abundant bird life.
