The Olduvai Gorge |
Also called Oldupai Gorge, it is commonly referred to as "The Cradle of Mankind." Olduvai is located in the eastern Serengeti Plains in northern Tanzania and is a steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley of about 30 miles long.
