With the Luhya people, you will be able to enjoy entertaining traditional culture, that have been kept upto today. This brings together activities such as african traditional drums, food, bull wrestling, etc... You will visit the great Kakamega Rainforest, one of the largest in Africa. The sceneries on your way to Kakamega are outstanding, with a great game drive in Lake Nakuru national Park to see wildlife Kenya is famous for.

Day 1: “Karibu (Welcome) Kenya"
Pick up:

Day 2 : Visit Lake Nakuru National Park
Trip orientation, drive to the beautiful Great Rift Valley with a stop-over at the Valley view point. Enjoy a game drive at the famous Lake Nakuru National Park where you will see millions of flamingoes and the endangered black rhino, among other wildlife. Dinner and night in Nakuru.

Day 3:Kakamega Rain Forest
Depart Nakuru, pass through great sceneries of tea plantations (chai) around Kericho town. View the famous Lake Victoria on your way to Kakamega. Enjoy a walk in Kakamega Rain Forest with various bird species, monkeys. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Origins and Culture of the Luhya people
Learn about the origins and culture of the Luhya people, how they migrated from the North and settled around Lake Victoria. The Elders will also explain you about the different cultures you will discover in different Luhya sub-clans. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Isikuti”(drums) and Busaa (local brew):
Today, you will enjoy the traditional dances that are played with Isikuti - a local drum and mostly danced with waist - during ceremonies, such as wedding & circumcision. Try out some local made beer and taste a great mix of vegetable that this tribe is known for. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 6 :Bull wrestling
Before getting to the climax of bull wrestling, discover how people can get wild as if it is a football game, making noise, doing some witchcraft, acrobatics and all sorts of entertainment. The two bulls, each representing a village, are fed traditional beer before being pitted against each other to battle it out for the pride of the two opposing villages: the winning bull gets a prize and a tittle. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Culture winding
Wind up by learning more about the life customs of the Luhya people, which is more wild, including adulthood celebration, traditional wedding, homestead, etc... Then drive to Dunga where you will visit Hippo Point before diner and night in Kisumu.

Day 8: "Kwaheri" - bye!
You can be transfered to your airport or get a great deal and enjoy relaxing in a beautiful beach.
