Teaching & Sport Volunteer Programs

Do you have the ability to teach or do sport? Come and Volunteer to teach or coach sport in some of the poorest areas in Kenya. These projects just need a lot of energy and enthusiasm. The government of Kenya is striving for all children both boys and girls to achieve minimum education, by providing free primary education in all Kenyan institutions. There is still a lack of teachers though and a need for teachers/mentors both in primary and secondary schools, throughout Kenya.

Volunteer teaching placements:

1. Teaching in primary school (4 to 13) Curriculum subjects : Maths, English, any foreign language, Arts & Crafts, etc...
2. Teaching in secondary school (14 to 18): Maths, English, Arts & crafts, any foreign language, etc...
3. School holiday season :  April, August, Nov/ Dec, but upper primary and upper secondary pupils still go to school
4. Sport Training: Soccer, Netball, Volleyball, etc… Athletics & field & track games such High Jump, Shot Put, etc..
5. Primary School sports season:  Ball games from Jan to end of March & Athletics games: May to end of July
6. Secondary School sports season:  Ball games and Athletics: all year long
