Participation fee: of US$ 300 per volunteer is divided into administration costs (communication, camp preparation, ) and workcamp voluntary period (food, orientation, permit...)

Applications: Applications are open and should be submitted at least 1 week before commencement of the project.

Arrival in the country: Volunteers will be picked from the airport upon flight details confirmation via email.

Cultural approach: Malaika Ecotourism provides locally available foodstuffs and the volunteers prepare their own meals in turn. However, Eco-volunteers are encouraged to showcase their food culture during cultural nights for every nationality represented at the project and welcome them to carry exotic foodstuffs for the occasion to enhance cultural diversity.

Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in classrooms or house provided by the host community; a way to experience the complex community development dynamics and a show of solidarity in community development initiatives.

Health/Accident Insurance cover and Visa, This shall be arranged by volunteers prior their travel to Kenya

What to bring: Beddings (sleeping bag, mat, mosquito net), mosquito repellent and personal effects..
