Mount Meru (4,565m) is another major attraction of the Arusha national Park, and is the second highest Mountain in Tanzania and the fifth highest in Africa. Unlike Kilimanjaro, which can only be climbed on foot, the slopes of Mount Meru may be ascended to a certain level in a 4WD vehicle.
