Description:
The Mara Hippo Safari Lodge is located near the Ololaimatiek gate on the south-side of the Mara Triangle, within the world famous Maasai Mara Game reserve, approximately 250 km from Nairobi.
With a casual approach towards offering basic facilities, the lodge has put in great effort to harmonise this beautiful game laden landscape by protecting its greatest asset... the environment!
All its architectural structures have been designed to complement the magnificent surrounding to ensure that from every verandah, nature celebrates its glory with breathtaking landscapes ranging from the gentle rolling grassland and hills to the dense tropics flora dotted with game.
The easiest way to access the lodge is by light aircraft landing at Keekorok Airstrip, 15kms to the west or access by road is 245kms from Nairobi via the main Sekenani Gate of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
