Description & Location:
The luxuriously elite Governors’ Private Camp is keen to offer the best to those who want an exclusive taste of the Governors’ experience.

Personal attention is the hallmark of every stay here; the manager is also your host and is at hand to see to all your desires and answer all your questions. The camp can only be booked by one family, group or party at a time, so it’s yours to enjoy, as the name suggests, in private.

Located in the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the camp is set in a unique spot where animals come to drink and splash, as hippos laze in the shallows.

The camp can be easily accessed by road, 320 km southwest from Nairobi, but best by light aircraft landing at the Musiara Airstrip.

Accommodation:
8 Spacious and luxurious safari tents under canvas, offering a maximum 16 beds. Each tent with:

• Private Verandah
• En-suite bathrooms with bucket shower, basin, flush toilet, bidet and hot and cold running water
• Gas & Paraffin lamps
• 220 Volt plugs at Main Governors' Camp
• Room service on request
• Tea and coffee is served in the tents
• Morning Wake-Up Call

Facilities:
All the traditions of the bush apply and facilities are under canvas and include:

• Open Bar & Dining Tent with view over the Mara River
• Bush Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on request at a supplementary costs
• Evening Cocktails & BonFires
• Laundry
• Radio contact with other camps and the Nairobi office
• All Weather Airstip
• Curio Shop

CHILDREN:

• Child under 12 years pays 60% of the per person adult rate
• Children of all ages are catered for
• However walks are ONLY available for children OVER 10 years old
