Summary:
Start by dancing and sharing with a people from Kibera Slums and a visit to Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre. Then have great sports adventures, from white water rafting to biking tour that will bring you close to the wildlife. Meet the Masai and learn about their traditions. Enjoy game drives to view the Big Five before having fun in Kenyan great white sanded beaches, a lot of relaxation and partying. Finish by visiting Mombasa Old Town and Fort Jesus:

Itinerary:
Day 1: "Karibu" Welcome Kenya
Transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the Meridien hotel for dinner and overnight. (Lunch can be provided, depending on your time of arrival)
Day 2: Visit Kibera Community and Karen Blixen:
Visit Kibera slum: Meet with a Women Group from Sudan and Kenya doing Cultural Activities and working in a children’s home, (you can donate clothes, balls, pens, books if you want). Kibera in Nairobi is the second largest Slum in Africa (the largest being Soweto in South Africa), and has a population of perhaps one million people. Have lunch with the group before an afternoon visit to Karen Blixen Museum, which is known for the Movie “Out Of Africa” . Then visit Giraffe Centre where you will be able to view giraffes and feed them. Dinner and overnight in Meridian hotel.
Day 3: River Mathoya for White Water Rafting:
Drive from Nairobi to Mathoya for White Water Rafting, this river has over 450m of descent in about 22km. Descending the Mathoya River offers some of the most technical water to be found in Kenya. Drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. Dinner around the campfire and night in Fisherman’s camp.
Note: What to Bring: Clothes you do not mind getting wet and shoes that will not come off.
Day 4: Biking, Hell’s Gate National Park:
Morning biking within the National Park close to wildlife such as buffalos, Masai Giraffe, elands, Coke's Hartebeest, lions, leopards and cheetah. Picnic before walking in spectacular gorges, hot springs, scenic landscapes, the Geothermal Station. Learn about Masai culture. Back to the Fisherman Camp Dinner and Beer around the campfire before overnight.
Day 5: Community Visit and play with Children: / Masai Mara Game Reserve:
Drive from Naivasha to Lari community (Kikuyu’s tribe) hosting a children’s home, on your way to Masai Mara. Play some games with the kids such as Football, Running etc…., you can give some Clothes, Balls, Pens, Books etc… if you bring some with you. You will help in cooking for these kids in this day and eat with them as well. Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve for dinner and night in campsite.
Day 6: Animals Hunting, Hippo point, Campfire with Masai people
Very early morning game drive to spot some animals hunting. Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the largest game reserves in Africa, its most famous wildlife being the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant). One of the world’s greatest wonder is also found here with the Wildebeest and zebra migration. You will relax and have a picnic lunch at hippo point and then afternoon game drives till late, back to the campsite, for dinner around the campfire.
Day 7: Nomadic Masai, Manyatta, traditional Warrior jumps
Morning game drive on your way to visit a Nomadic Masai community in a "Manyatta", join Masai Warriors jumping and practicing traditional dances. Learn about Masai culture, life, wedding and warriors decorations: you can be decorated if you wish to. Drive back to Nairobi for dinner at the famous carnivore restaurant. Night at Meridian hotel.
Day 8: Relaxation along the Beach in South Coast:
Drive to Sagalla community on your way to the coast: this is one of the Taita speaking tribes who is known for its long living traditions of worshiping ancestors. Then drive to South coast which is truly a tropical paradise, dotted with fine palm fringed white sand beaches. The south coast beaches in Kenya are known for their exceptional scenic charm, cleanliness, and unmatched tranquillity, making them a perfect place for relaxation. You will be camping at Twiga Lodge in Tiwi Beach.
Day 9: Water Sports
Running along the beach if you are for it, then you will go for snorkelling among other optional various water sports available, and then have a get together disco party in Ukunda. Camping at Twiga Lodge.
Day10. Mombasa Old Town
Visit Mombasa Old town and Fort Jesus. Constructed in the 16th century by the Portuguese, this fort is an impressive battle-scarred relic of the years of conflict between the Portuguese colonialists and Shirazi Arabs. The museum at Fort Jesus is worth a visit on Mombasa tours, but is not for the faint hearted. It includes a tour of prison cells and torture rooms used during the slave trade. Then drive back to Nairobi and arrive in time to catch your flight back home. Optional stop over enroute to Nairobi a fair trade market.
